Heat Protectant

Heat protectant. Heat protectant. Heat protectant. Keeping your hair safe from heat damage should be a top priority and one of your top care tips! Using a heat protectant will help keep your hair extensions looking healthy and will also protect and prolong any color on your hair.

Mystify is a heat protectant you can spray on damp or dry hair to protect your hair up to 450 degrees.

Another way to protect your hair and extensions from heat damage is turning styling products down to 350 degrees. If you have finer hair, you could even go down another ten degrees. Your curls will still hold!

Moisture Care Tips

Overusing texture spray and dry shampoo is also not necessary! Overusing products can do more damage than good and can dry out your hair extensions. Keeping moisture locked in your hair should be another one of your top care tips.

Trying to go as long as possible without washing hair is something we hear about often but is a no no! Shampooing and conditioning two to three times a week is how you bring moisture back into your hair and extensions. Moisture is key to keeping your hair looking and feeling healthy!

We know washing and blow drying hair can be time consuming but make sure to never sleep with wet hair! This can cause matting and lots of tangles. There are some products our stylists love that can even speed up the drying process!

Brushing your hair multiple times a day can also prevent matting and tangles in hair extensions. Make sure to brush hair from the bottom to the top to prevent pulling and breakage.
