We can’t believe 2023 is almost over! We can’t wait to see all the great things 2024 brings and hope everyone makes the best of the last month of the year! This week we wanted to cover a few of the fun, popular hair trends of 2023.

Low Maintenance Hair Trends

One trend we’ve been loving is lived-in color. Lived-in color is great for blondes, brunettes, or any color of hair! The trend involves blending out your color for a more natural look when your hair starts to grow out. Some of our clients love the more lived-in look because the upkeep is low maintenance. Most clients won’t even need to touch up their color at every visit! 

Bows and Ribbons

Another 2023 hair trend we’ve been seeing everywhere is bows and ribbons! These are usually styled with a half up half down hairstyle. The trend is super cute, and we’ve been seeing it styled in lots of different age groups. We’re not sure if this trend will last long, BUT it is a fun way to add an accessory to your hairstyle. Even if the bow trend isn’t here to stay, we know the half up half down hairstyle alone will still be trending next year!

Face-Framing

Face-framing trends have also been super popular in 2023. Clients can choose to frame their face with color or a cut! With color, face-framing can be achieved with some highlights or a money piece. A lot of clients will aim for the lived-in look throughout their hair, but then will add some face-framing color as well just to brighten things up around their face. With a cut, clients can add some layers to the pieces of hair around their face to add some shape. Curtains bangs have been a super popular option for face-framing this year!
